Source / Purification

Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues surrounding Ser395 of human NuMA. Antibodies are purified using protein A and peptide affinity chromatography. 该多克隆抗体是由合成的人源的针对NuMA蛋白丝氨酸(395位)磷酸化肽段免疫动物,利用A蛋白和多肽亲和层析方法纯化生产的。

The nuclear mitotic apparatus protein (NuMA) is a coiled coil protein involved in the formation and maintenance of the mitotic spindle. NuMA plays a role in chromatin organization during interphase, which influences mammary epithelial differentiation (1,2). During apoptosis, carboxy-terminal cleavage of NuMA may amplify signaling in the cell death pathway (2). NuMA is phosphorylated at numerous sites, with phosphorylation at Ser395 occurring in an ATM/ATR-dependent manner in response to DNA damage (3,4). 核有丝分裂器蛋白(NuMA)是一种参与有丝分裂纺锤体形成和维持的卷曲蛋白。NuMA在分裂间期的染色质组织过程起其重要作用,从而影响乳腺细胞分化(1,2)。凋亡过程中,NuMA的羧基末端清除可以放大细胞死亡信号通路。NuMA含有多个磷酸化位点,ATM/ATR依赖方式发生的丝氨酸395位磷酸化能够响应DNA损伤(3,4)。

Phospho-NuMA (Ser395) Antibody is directed at a site that was identified at Cell Signaling Technology (CST) using PhosphoScan®, CST's LC-MS/MS platform for modification site discovery.
