Immunoprecipitation of LAMTOR4/C7orf59 from HeLa cell extracts using Rabbit (DA1E) mAb IgG XP® Isotype Control #3900 (lane 2) or LAMTOR4/C7orf59 (D6A4V) Rabbit mAb (lane 3). Lane 1 is 10% input. Western blot analysis was performed using LAMTOR4/C7orf59 (D6A4V) Rabbit mAb.

LAMTOR4/C7orf59 is an essential component of the Ragulator complex (1). Ragulator also consists of LAMTOR1/C11orf59, LAMTOR2/ROBLD3, LAMTOR3/MAPKSP1, and HBXIP (1,2). This complex localizes to the lysosomal membrane and is essential for the lysosomal localization of Rag GTPases and mTORC1 as well as the subsequent activation of mTORC1 in response to amino acids (1-3).
